Volunteer
There are a number of ways you can volunteer:
International Projects - Generation
We have a number of ongoing education and livelihood projects in Asia and Africa. These projects are run by our local partners such as Generation.
Generation Is an overseas volunteering programme aimed at building sustainable communities and enhancing careers. Together we work with individuals who are committed to making a positive contribution to local communities through teaching and grass roots development work and who have a genuine interest in social change.
Typically our volunteers have skills and/or experience, such as teaching or business that they can contribute toward delivering the goals in needy communities.
For many people, volunteering overseas provides an unforgettable experience. The chance to travel and work in a totally different environment can be life-changing.
Do you have a career break or extended travel plans coming up? Are you thinking about a career in international development and the charity sector? The best way to explore these areas is to volunteer on one of our 3month projects. The placements can be adapted to suit the volunteer and match with ongoing assignments.

Our office is based near Northampton. We often have interesting volunteer roles that could help you develop your skills, gain work experience or make a contribution to the smooth running of the charity.
