New video complete
The MondoChallenge Foundation has completeted a new video profiling its work in the HIV/AIDS livelihoods programmes, in particular the small grants scheme. These are now running in Tanzania and The Gambia and 70 families have already been supported.
MondoChallenge™ volunteers have been involved from the outset, providing business training and support to local volunteers and the small businesses chosen to receive grants.
The average grant is £60 and this is used to buy stock, equipment, materials for tailoring, sowing machines, poultry etc. 90% of the families supported are running successfully after 12 months. "The money and help have given me so much help and hope. Now I can provide for my small family. I have the will to live!" Paulina in Tanzania.
